It’s out. I saw it in the bookshop window in Albert Park after having coffee with my mum and dad and if there’s a good time to see your own book in a shop window, that would be it.

Oh, darling, said Mum

Listen to the break up letter the Normanites penned for Andrew

On Andrew’s last night as the Evening Presenter for 702ABC, he asked all the quizzers to provide a break up line- either by SMS or on the phone. Andrew then wrote them down in the order they arrived and used it as a kind of speech to announce that this would be his last night on Evenings before moving to Ch 9 to front a new program in the afternoons.

No one really knew how it would turn out because no one knew what the last or next line might be.

Here’s the result. Touching, emotional – a little savage in parts – but it typifies the time had over the past year and a half at 702 in that it was a great deal of fun.

Coming out in Oct 2009

This is the new book by Andrew and illustrator Jonathan Bentley. The same tame that brought you I Do It – the picture book inspired by Andrew’s daughter who was pretty sure she could do anything – everything!

Check On Me is in a similar vein and inspired by one of Andrew’s kids. Jonathan was able to take the text and turn it into something truly beautiful.

These are some of the test sketches done by Jonathan, you’ll love the real ones, out October 09 through ABC Books.

When he finally passes his farm motorbike licence, he takes his grandpa’s bike out for a spin without permission. He runs to Billy Wesson for help, but they discover the motorbike has gone missing.
